Job Description

As a Dental Recruiter, your primary responsibility is to identify, attract, and recruit top talent within the dental industry for technical positions. You will collaborate closely with Regional and Office managers to understand their staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and execute plans to source, screen, and select qualified candidates. This role requires a deep understanding of dental technology, as well as strong networking and relationship-building skills within the dental community. The role involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing and screening to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.

Compensation:

$50,000-$60,000

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates with the technical skills and experience required for dental positions but should also be versatile with the ability to hire non-technical roles.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and assessments to evaluate candidate fit for the role and organizational culture.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
  • Guide hiring managers on best practices for conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and making hiring decisions.
  • Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback to candidates.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and talent pools for future hiring needs within the dental practice.
  • Negotiate job offers with selected candidates, including salary, benefits, and other terms of employment.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Recruiter or Senior Recruiter, preferably with a focus on technical or specialized roles within the dental industry.
  • Deep understanding of dental technology, materials, equipment, and procedures commonly used in dental laboratories and practices.
  • Strong networking skills and established connections within the dental community, including dental schools, industry associations, and professional conferences.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO and affirmative action guidelines.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for recruitment events or meetings.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
